These 7 Celebrities Don’t Wear Deodorant

We are all a little bit obsessed with our favorite stars’ beauty habits. Which make-up they use? How do they manage to stay so young-looking? Which hair products they use to have such perfect hair all the time? But, there is a thing that probably hasn’t even occurred to you – do celebs use deodorant? Of course they do! Except these 7, that totally don’t.

1. Kourtney Kardashian

Popular reality star, and practically a TV royalty is one of the stars that ditched deodorant. Her reason for doing that was becoming a mom. How does that have anything to do with deodorant, you may wonder. Well, Kourt has said that she wanted to lead a more natural lifestyle since she gave birth to her son and she also believes that wearing deodorant is bad for breastfeeding. Unfortunately, those around her did notice that her B.O. was a bit worse than it should be. Anyhow, she has probably switched back to using it since her kids are a bit older now.

2. Cameron Diaz

Beautiful actress, Cameron Diaz is among the stars who have banned deodorant from their lives. And she has a good reason too; she believes that deodorants are what makes us stinky in the first place. She stated that deodorant keep all the stench inside and make the situation even worse. That’s why she has given up on using it 20 years ago! Her word of advice that goes for women and men – just shave off your armpit hair and it will make the stench go away. We’re not so sure, but we hope it works for her.

3. Matthew McConaughey

Hollywood hunk Matthew McConaughey surprised us all when he actually started acting in serious movies and TV shows and even earned an Oscar. Not that we didn’t like him in his more shirtless roles. But this handsome guy doesn’t use deodorant either. He is not worried about the environment or health, he just hates wearing anything that makes him look or even smell like another person. That’s why he doesn’t like wearing brand clothes and that’s why he refuses to use deodorant. He just takes a shower and smells like Matthew McConaughey all the time.

4. Brad Pitt

Another Hollywood heartthrob, Brad Pitt, also refuses to wear deodorant. His reasons are not completely clear, but it had something to do with his contract with Chanel No. 5. Since the contract ended, so did the actor’s relationship with all synthetic fragrances. He reportedly shunned perfumes and deodorants from his life altogether. Pitt is one of the eco-friendly stars so it may have something to do with that and the harmfulness of the chemicals that can be found in deodorants. However, his kids now call him „stinky daddy“. That’s not how we usually picture Brad Pitt, is it?

5. Julia Roberts

The A-lister is an image of beauty, elegance and class, so would you believe us if we told you that Julia Roberts doesn’t wear deodorant? She has actually admitted this herself when she was celebrating Earth Day on Oprah. She said:  “I don’t actually use deodorant. I don’t like to share that with a lot of people. It’s just never been my thing.” We don’t really get how wearing a deodorant can “not be your thing” but we’re guessing her choice has something to do with the environment considering that the actress is one of the eco-friendliest stars in Hollywood.

6. Bradley Cooper

Is it just us, or it seems that all the hottest Hollywood stars don’t use deodorant? Maybe it’s somehow connected. Another hottie, Bradley Cooper, that we loved in Silver Linings Playbook and Hangover, also admitted that he doesn’t use deodorant. In an interview with Esquire the actor talked about work, success and – his personal hygiene habits. He said that he doesn’t really use deodorant but he compensated for it by taking three showers a day, in the morning, at night and after working out. We really want to keep a good image of Bradley in our heads, so we hope the showers work for him.

7. Shailene Woodley

Cute actress from Divergent series and The Fault in Our Stars embraced a hippie lifestyle a long time ago. Not only does she eat healthy food, she also makes her own beauty products. This includes cleaning lotions, hair conditioners, even lipstick and eyeshadow. One of the products she makes herself is deodorant. So while she technically does use deodorant, it’s not the artificial you can find in stores. She mixes some baking soda, coconut oil, arrowroot powder and a few drops of essential oils, her favorite being lavender, bergamot, sage and tea tree.
